Ken Brooke is arguably the most influential British magician in the last century. He was responsible for launching many careers, including Paul Daniels, Wayne Dobson and also Nick Lewin. This 2 hour 26 minute Zoom seminar features Gaetan Bloom, Mike Caveney, Marc DeSouza, Trevor Liley, Paul Stone, Bob Swadling and Dick Koornwinder. As fun as it is illuminating, these close friends, students and colleagues of Ken share stories, memories and insight as they join Nick to discuss the legacy of this magical legend. This seminar brought together a unique group of people to share the way that Ken Brooke influenced their lives and magic. They share personal photographs, reminisces and generally pay tribute to their friend and mentor. It is almost impossible to overestimate the importance of Ken's contribution to the magic community, as a performer, dealer, writer, demonstrator and teacher. Along with Roy Johnson, Frank Farrow, and Jim Hooper Ken reinvented the way magic should be routined and sold to the magic fraternity. This spirited conversation is as close as you can now get to being a fly on the wall at 145, Wardour Street, back in the day.
