Ken Brooke - Recipient of the Performing Fellowship Award from the Academy of Magical Arts, and the Diplome d’Honneur from the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (FISM). Honored and recognized through Fiesta of Magic in 1981 at the Blackpool Magic Convention.
Brooke performed his first show to the London Concert Artists Association in summer 1962 to a professional audience including Billy McComb, John Brierly, Frank Farrow and Alan Shaxon. Ken Brooke had a profound influence on the greats of the UK magic scene, the likes of David Nixon, Tommy Cooper, Paul Daniels, David Berglas, Geoffrey Durham, and Wayne Dobson. |
