It was my great pleasure to record this interview with Billy in Las Vegas in 1996 when I was headlining my own show at the Maxim Hotel & Casino and Billy was opening the show for Amazing Jonathan at Ballys. I was determined to capture as much of Billy's advice on performing magic as I could. For three and a half hours I "grilled" Billy as only a best friend could, when we listened the playback of our unrehearsed and spontaneous recording we both agreed that it did a better job of capturing Billy's philosophy of performing magic than any other previous undertaking.
